Jim Schantz and Kim Saul offer fine contemporary art glass at Schantz Galleries in Stockbridge, Mass.

Last October, artists Jim Schantz and Kim Saul took over Holsten Galleries in Stockbridge, Mass. The husband-and-wife team had been part of Holsten since its beginnings in 1978, when it was one of the first galleries in America to show contemporary art glass—Schantz even helped construct the building that houses the intricate sculptures.

Maintaining the space’s museum-like quality, Schantz Galleries offers a fresh take on what its predecessor inspired, featuring stunning, brightly colored contemporary glass work ranging from pedestals to chandeliers to wall sculptures by internationally recognized artists such as Dale Chihuly, Lino Tagliapietra, and Dan Dailey.—AMcG
