Steven Wright isn’t so much a comedian as he is a philosopher of wonder. Wright marvels over a world wherein breakfast any time equals French toast in the Renaissance; where the theory of evolution crumbles at the discovery that Charles Darwin was adopted; where tinsel is really snakes’ mirrors; and where hermits endure no peer pressure.
 
Wright’s deadpan, laconic delivery is in and of itself a tonic for our hyperactive times. Catch him at the Colonial Theatre in Pittsfield, Mass., on Jan 24 at 7.
